The warehouses where we store, pack and distribute our finished products are located in the heart of Reggio Emilia’s famous “food valley” while we process the freshly-fished tuna in Abidjan in Ivory Coast, employing about 750 people, with seasonal peaks of more than 1000.

Airone's mission is to supply eco-sustainable, reliable, top quality tuna. So Airone is always on the front line throughout the production process. It works directly with Atlantic fishermen, has opened its own factory where the fishermen dock and has appointed local managers, dialoguing with their knowledge and culture on an equal footing.
Our aim is to be a point of reference for safe delicious products throughout the world. At the heart of our work is passion, collaboration and an understanding between Italy and Ivory Coast. We believe in progress and are committed to improving the well-being of the communities we collaborate with.
Safety. We process both yellowfin tuna and skipjack tuna, a smaller species, but less threatened by extinction and with a lower mercury content.
Responsibilities. Before reaching your table, our tuna goes on a long journey during which the environment is respected at all times. We cooperate constantly with the local populations and have built a school specifically for the fishermen's children.
